Land Rover Discovery

2021 Land Rover Discovery 48V mild hybrid (MHEV). Recurring 12V system failures: repeated depleted/dead 12V batteries and no-start events. The 12V battery has failed and been replaced three times during my ownership (two documented at a franchised Land Rover dealer and an independent shop), plus a prior replacement under the previous owner per the vehicle history report. Vehicle was taken to dealership for turning off while driving. While at the dealership the truck developed a windshield leak. Land rover discovery has a known issue with the windshield leaking. Windshield was replaced in 2021; I was not the owner at that time. In December 2025 the dealer discovered the leak and did not repair it knowing that these vehicles are known for water leaking and causing electrical damage.

The contact owns a 2019 Land Rover Discovery. The contact stated that the vehicle had been experiencing electrical failures. Engine is shaking and no power at all

My mom was run over and killed by her vehicle on 5/15.

System warning lamps -- Hill Descent, Park Fault Brake Detected, Stability Control Not Available, Brake System Fault Detected, Suspension Fault Detected, Electrical Fault Detected, Car not being able to be put in gear. I was driving home from work late at night in December 2025. The failing component is the same as Land Rover Discovery 2017-2020 recall /N221 service action. Complaint is to extend this service action/ recall to later production models of Land Rover Discovery in the years 2021 and 2022.
